Exhibition and Professional Presentation at ARHE Conference
The countdown is on for the 7th National ARHE Conference! As we prepare for this year’s conference, we wanted to make sure you were aware of these new opportunities for students. In years past, we have opened up conference presentation submissions and invited professionals to submit abstracts for presentations. We are again doing this and want to remind you to get your by January 27, 2016. We look forward to seeing the great work you are all doing at your programs featured this year.
Additionally, we have an opportunity available for students in your recovery programs to submit abstracts for a poster session as well as general workshop presentations (which should be completed through the online proposal form).
The poster presentations will be an opportunity for your CRP students to present their academic work (in any field or discipline) at a national professional conference. These disciplines could include biology, music, information technology, sociology, Spanish language, education—the sky is the limit! CRPs are full of students interested in so many things, and this is an opportunity for them to exhibit their own work in a professional forum. The poster presentation will be on the final day–Friday April 8th.
Additionally, if you have graduate or undergraduate students doing research in addiction and/or recovery sciences who are not in your recovery program but who are affiliated with your programs and would like an opportunity to exhibit their work via poster, please encourage them to also submit.
Thank you so much for your shared excitement about our upcoming conference! We look forward to seeing you all in just three short months!
